Why is a round bottom bag better than a standard flat bag?
In a round container (drum, pail), a standard bag forms folds and creases. That is where your product, such as a thick paste or granules, collects and goes to waste, and the folds themselves can tear under pressure. KAHAPE round bottom bags fit the walls precisely, eliminating ‘dead zones’ and allowing the container to be emptied almost completely without material loss.
Will the liner withstand the weight of a heavy substance or liquid?
Yes. The liners’ strength comes from a special reinforced seal of at least 5 mm and a correctly chosen film thickness of up to 200 µm. As a result, the liner stays leak-tight even with heavy contents.
Can the film parameters be matched to chemicals or foodstuffs?
Yes. We select the material for the specific application. We offer films with a PZH certificate for the food industry and solutions with increased chemical resistance. With the right film thickness (up to 200 µm), the bag becomes an integral protective layer that stays leak-tight even with high-density contents.
Are drum liners cost-effective and environmentally friendly?
Yes. Liners eliminate the need to wash drums, which reduces the use of water, detergents and energy. After emptying, the container can be reused straight away, and the bags themselves are recyclable under PPWR.
