Are pallet covers suitable for demanding long-distance transport, e.g. by sea?
Yes. We design our pallet covers for demanding logistics conditions. Thanks to high-quality LDPE/MDPE film and the option of adding corrosion inhibitors (VCI), they reliably protect goods from moisture, salt-laden air, dust and mechanical damage, even during intercontinental transport lasting several weeks.
Can I order a pallet cover for non-standard dimensions or an oversized load?
Yes. We specialise in Custom Packaging , so we are not limited to Euro pallet standards. We precisely match pallet cover dimensions to non-standard loads, irregular shapes and oversized machinery, ensuring optimal material use and highly stable protection.
Can goods protected with pallet covers be stored outdoors?
Yes, provided the right parameters are chosen. For outdoor storage, we offer pallet covers with a UV stabiliser that protects the film from degradation and shields the product from sunlight and changing weather for many months.
Are pallet covers single-use or can they be reused?
It depends on the film thickness chosen. With thicker materials of 100 to 120 microns or more, KAHAPE pallet covers are highly tear-resistant, so they can be reused many times in a closed loop. In addition, all our pallet covers are recyclable under PPWR.
