We design packaging when standard solutions stop making sense. Tell us what you pack and what gets damaged along the way, and we will select the material, thickness and format. We make the prototype to your dimensions free of charge.
Standard packaging works until the product, process or logistics deviate from the norm. We have listed six situations in which it is worth calculating whether a made-to-measure design will pay off. If you recognise even one, it is worth a conversation.
Goods arrive damaged, damp or corroded, and complaints come in regularly, not just once a year.
It does not fit any standard format, or fits with so much spare room that you pay for air.
It cannot handle transhipment in the sun, stops or temperature swings in transit.
Sometimes you need two hundred units, sometimes twenty thousand, but your supplier wants an annual commitment.
The cover should circulate in a closed loop instead of ending up as waste after one trip.
You suspect a made-to-measure solution is cheaper overall, but have no way of calculating it.
No company names, as some projects are confidential. But with specifics, because without them it would just be a claim.
Meals travelled on pallets in standard packaging. During transhipment and stops, the temperature went outside the required range, and refrigerated containers were too heavy and too slow for daily handling.
We designed a thermal cover for the pallet, made of aluminium-laminated bubble film and matched to the specific load carrier. The prototype passed a test on the actual route, and only then did production start.
Stable conditions along the entire route, fitting a cover instead of reloading into a container, and packaging that circulates and is used many times.
Parts were shipped to the customer coated in protective oil. The customer had to degrease them before assembly, which cost time and regularly led to disputes about the condition of deliveries.
A VCI pallet cover that releases volatile corrosion inhibitors, matched to the metal type and route length.
Corrosion protection without a layer of oil, less work for the customer and a simpler goods-in procedure.
The machines stood in the yard for months, covered with film from a roll and taped up. Water still found its way in, and preparing one machine took two people half a day.
Covers tailored to each machine, made of UV-resistant film and fitted by one person.
A tight seal instead of improvisation, and much less time to prepare each machine.
Five steps. The fourth is free, and it is usually the decisive one.
01
Form or phone. Tell us what you pack, how it travels and what gets damaged.
02
A short briefing with a specialist on your process, load carrier and transport.
03
Within one to seven working days, with a proposal for material, thickness and format.
04
We make a sample to your dimensions and send it to you for testing on your load. At no cost to you. It is the cheapest way to check a solution before you order a production run.
05
Short runs or mass production, with logistics across the European Union.
Packaging effectiveness depends on the process, not on the industry label. Five areas where we work most often, together with the problem that recurs in each.
The pallet load shifts and absorbs moisture during transhipment.
Corrosion of metal parts in transport and storage.
Electrostatic discharge and moisture affecting sensitive components.
Damage and returns in parcel shipping, and packaging cost per unit.
Food contact, moisture and UV radiation during outdoor storage.
Go straight to specifications, materials and size ranges.
LDPE and MDPE, heat-shrink and standard

Drums, pails, containers, big bags
